Scarlet IPCC for iPhone (FW < 3.1)

Here is a custom IPCC (iPhone Carrier Configuration) for Scarlet! This IPCC contains the correct logo’s, APN for internet, APN and settings for MMS, will enable Tethering and set the correct voicemail number.
Installation is easy as pie, here goes:
Download the Scarlet_BE_custom_2.ipcc file here.
Close iTunes and open up a command prompt and type the following command:
"C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1Restart iTunes and while pressing SHIFT on your keyboard click the “Check for updates” button.
In the “Files of type” dropdown menu choose “iPhone Carrier Configuration files (*.ipcc)” and browse to the Scarlet_BE_custom.ipcc file. Click open and you’re all set! Tadaaah!
Thanks _bs! ;)
ps: yes, there was a fairly lenghty post about this here before :)
ps: doesn’t work for iPhoneOS 3.1 yet, 2.x and 3.0/3.0.1 works. I don’t think I’ll be upgrading to 3.1 any time soon, so can’t check why it doesn’t work…
Great job!
Don’t know if the setting of the “voicemail” button is also in this IPCC file, but after I loaded your file, it was not working anymore or calling to a wrong number.
Maybe you can fix it, the correct numer is +32473151991
tnx!
I configured the voicemail with number 1933, but I don’t remember where I got that number from…
Anyway, configured the IPCC with the number you proposed, tested it, and now it works :p
Hi, I tried it on 3.0 and it worked perfectly. Now upgraded to 3.1 and tethering is gone. Reinstalled this ipcc file, but no luck.
Any idea’s? thanks
First thought is that Apple changed something in the tethering configuration … I don’t think I’ll be upgrading to 3.1 any time soon, so I can’t check neither fix it :(
Ha!
It seems it’s Apple disabling the tethering option in countries where it is not officially supported… Dutch article: http://tweakers.net/nieuws/62474/apple-maakt-tethering-onmogelijk-met-iphone-os-31-update.html
