I installed TomTom on my iPhone, but it had the icon of “Shazam”. Searching the interwebs I found various fixes all talking about removing the application and rebooting, but there is an easyer way, here it is:

Navigate to the following directory on your iPhone (using WinSCP, iPhoneBrowser, Putty or MobileTerminal)

/private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.springboard-imagecache-icons.plist

Rename it to com.apple.springboard-imagecache-icons.plist.fuckedup or something similar, just in case the sky falls on your head.

Now respring et voila!
